It's nice to meet you.
Thank you for visiting my site. I'm Kait, a marketer and creative with a passion for chasing wild ideas, encouraging others, and making the world a generally happier, more inspiring place.
While working on my music degree years ago, I accidentally got involved in marketing, and quickly found "home".
My enthusiasm for clean code, inspiring design, authentic relationships, and complex puzzles quickly bred a passion for email and growth channels, through which I've supported a variety of B2B and B2B SaaS brands. Today, I work full-time as email marketing manager at Scaled Agile, a Boulder-based company teaching big organizations to scale the Agile and Lean development methodologies to work faster, better, and happier.
Since all of my excitement for my work won't fit squarely in my day job, I also volunteer as the Vice Chair of the Email Experience Council's Events + Education subcommittee and contribute regularly to the #emailgeeks and Women of Email communities. In spring of 2019, I was named the Stefan Pollard Email Marketer of the Year award for my work.

Art was my first love, and I've been making and drawing and creating as long as I can remember. I'm not formally trained, but I am persistent and very comfortable failing until I get something right. I like people, animals, and being outside, so most of my art has something to do with that.
In 2017, I set out to become a better portrait artist by drawing 100 portraits of 100 random Facebook friends in 150 days. I accomplished my goal three days early, then got on stage at the Chautauqua Auditorium for Ignite Boulder's 10th anniversary to share what I learned.
In my adventures in marketing, art, music, travel, and the wild and wonderful outdoors, I've found some really incredible stories. I've written a few of my own. I especially like to share what I learn from the people around me.
Stay tuned for upcoming projects to see what new stories will be coming soon.
